UPDATE MODULE 3-CHANGEMAKERS LAB

I started this initiative several years ago. Together with my volunteering family team in Senegal. I started a campaign fundraiser to raise awareness to Build a Women and girls Social Education Center that inspires women in poverty to improve their lives . The elevator pitch for us was to get the word out and share it on all of our social media handles. We hit the ground running!

 After several challenges and setbacks from 2017- acquired land after successfully fundraising, tragically losing several family members myself and in the lives of some of my volunteers, Covid -19 epidemic worldwide shutdown, funding options limited due to the state of economic issues we continue to persevere onward. We the members of our nonprofit are our sole stakeholders for our ngo is a nonstock and volunteer run operation. We are delighted to tell our own story as did the writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Her story is uplifting and encouraging. As a striving writer and leader of a team of villages in Senegal we too hope to inspire many and continue to make and create a bigger impact. 

I aspire to be the driver of my own life instead of life driving me. You must find a way to serve by service. In order to accomplish this you must motivate and inspire yourself. Your impact starts with you first, you are your number 1!

Breakthrough -2021-2022. We are awarded 3 grants and garnered donations on several popular fundraising platforms including Global Giving, GoFundMe and Launch Good. Our Volunteering International team grows everyday. In my travels I don't pursue the drive without it benefitting the goal we have set out before us.

As I speak we are in the rainy season which should be lifting in early October . We look forward to increase the traffic to our work and better improve the lives of women in families in our workshops classroom settings. We are determined to win our own race.
