The WOMB is born

At WEAVERS*, we call our savings initiative as WOMB or Women Organized and Managed Bank. Quite an ambitious name and who knows, it might just come true. We call ourselves bankers and investors. WOMB started in 2020 with only 13 members composed of WEAVERS members. Then on its second year, we expanded to 16 to include some members of the family. And in 2022, we almost exceeded the 25-members per group limit.

Another group is on its second year. It's called Berks COMSCA where we started at 15 and now, we have 21 members already.

Since the maximum number of group members in only 25, then we should form another group whenever, wherever.:-)
