Sister Safe Update 2
During this portion of the Sister Safe initiative, I focused on learning power structure, decision-making, empowerment and community building. The lectures were helpful in illustrating these topics to me, and encouraged me to think about the ecosystems existent in each realm as well. I am only at the beginning of this learning journey, but I see that there is so much more for me to learn!
Sister Safe is an initiative meant to empower women to learn how to keep themselves safe. As a crime victim myself, it has taken me years to try to put together a packet of tools that would enable me to stay safe from rapists and attackers. These things range from reading a person's demeanor, assessing their spirit and intent and in remaining as vigilant as possible at all times. I want to create a tool that other women and girls can use as a resource in their self-protection efforts.
Currently I am creating a newsletter with tips and articles for print and on-line publication. It is expected to be completed before our last update, then released to the public. For more information, message me here on WorldPulse.
