SET UP ....MODULE 1 .UPDATE NO.4

So since my last update, honestly  Ive been pretty busy. Our Island  which has been on lockdown for an extended period , recently opened up ,removing all restrictions ,even  the wearing of face mask . so life is back to some sembelance of normalcy . And as Anna said in one of the teaching videos ,we must look after ourselves and put ourselves in a position to be of service to others .

Im really happy to be a part of the Change Makers Training sessions , Im learning so much ,it helps to know my sisters are all in this with me and as we grow ,so will our communities 

The training session has some very core business principles ,like the SWOT analysis ,which is pivotal in any endeavour . Its a lot to absorb , but Im doing my best to really listen to the video,s and store the imformation ,so I can apply it to aspects of my Initative. 

By reading the Initatives of others Im encouraged to continue to strive to accomplish my own vision.

The consistent  rise in our DV numbers are a stark reality that this eco system of Training , Sustainability and Empowerment is desperately  needed 

For the last three months and a half months , I have been assisting a young lady who is a victim of Abuse and has a 9 month old baby with getting her life back on track , its like training ground for me ,and Im guessing God is giving me a preveiw of what I would have to deal with .

When we have these big visions ,a lot of times we dont have the experience of actually dealing with the individuals we intend to assist on a daily basis, we assume that it would be smooth sailing , I have been able to get assitance for her through the help of others that  I network with and who live in her community  ,but its its taking some time for real impact to happen as she is unemployed with a young baby and they both have health issues . Our hope is to get her to create her employment by setting her up in some small business endeavour.

I would really like to see my Initative SETUP ,truly get into a position to assist  people like Jane for a better chance at a purposeful life .
