New Community Savings Group Formed

The BERKS Community Managed Savings and Credit Association composed of 26 college friends have already spinned off to two (2) new groups composed of 25 members each. Three of the members initiated the formation of a COMSCA group among their circle of friends in their village. And one of the members of the new group have also formed a savings and credit association in the workplace composed of her co-workers. COMSCA provides a ready and quick access to credit especially for those running micro business who would need additional capitalization to expand the business for her growing customer base. Some members borrow money from COMSCA to bridge finance a project  or to fund maintenance work of their houses. Six months to go and group will share out their accumulated savings and interest earnings to the members. It happens in the middle part of December  where the members celebrate their accomplishments as a saver. My next update will be about the  amount of savings generated by the different COMSCA groups .
