My first World Puse Trainaton training

For several years now I have been  working hard to get the women and girls with disabilities with whom I work digitally empowered so they can be able to access online opportunities safely. This has had a considerable positive impact on their livelihood. So, when the opportunity showed up to be trained as a trainaton facilitator I thought it was amazing. The best part of it was the award of a certificate after the training which is valid every and anywhere.

I was excited to be able to replicate this training to seven women in my community. They were very excited when I told them my testimony on how world Pulse have impacted my life and my community indirectly and the numerous opportunities, I have had just by connecting online.

The Event was an in-person event because of the acute connectivity problem we are experiencing in Bamenda. Through this event I was able to get five women enrolled and two world Pulse sister who have not been active on the platform for a very long while log into their accounts.

The pass two weeks we have experience lots of lock down in Bamenda called up by the non-state armed groups and so our plan to hold other trainatons was disrupted. But now that we are a little stable, I plan to train deaf women and will be updating along as I carry out the trainings.
