In the past I have belonged to varied platforms and networks
but when I came on board world Pulse I could see the marked difference.
A network that empowers, builds, connect, validates etc. Its
not based on color, race, social class, tribe, language, where you come from
but based on unconditional love for one another and the strong and burning
desire of not wanting to leave anyone behind. Thank you, World Pulse, for all
you do.
Today another opportunity of the Trainathon training initiative to get more women to this
beautiful home has arisen and am taking it with all the strength I have. I use
this opportunity to bring more deaf girls and women on board world Pulse which
has been a burning desire for a long while.
I just want to congratulate World pulse for the remarkable
efforts in getting sign language interpreters on board which has made this platform
very inclusive. Therefore, I will be using this opportunity to bring more deaf
women and girls on board this training. I also plan to work with other
vulnerable women with disabilities and even without disabilities in the community
to also give them the opportunities I have enjoyed on world Pulse. By so doing
we are sure to attain our goal of not leaving anyone behind.
I have already introduced the idea on our deaf women WhatsApp
from and will also be talking one on one as not all of them are digitally
connected. Then we will organize training in very small groups of two and
threes for it to be very effective. This is because most of these women are not
very educated and we might have a lot of explanation to do. Being the only
interpreter here can be tiring and challenging but its doable.
