Module 4 Initative Update ,of Tactics, & Collabs

So three of the Tatics I employed  in achieving  my objective for my initative would be  by seeking collaborations , angel investment,  and  fund raising . I am very happy to announce that my initative updates  has been read by several people who have reached out to me ,  two of whom I am in collaborative talks with and one actually made a contribution to my fundraising effort , the hosting of the Fashionn Event  UnMasked , which takes place on the 03rd of December .

The planning stages of this   event is a practical opportunity for me to employ Module 4s lessons 

I have pulled together a team and each person is handling the areas in which they are strong 

As Anna pointed out Im putting the SMART goals into use 

   S pecific about our objective, carefully planning and   hosting a successful event 

   M esureable  Our success will be Measured by the ability to sell this event , source finances to pay vendors and services and to make a profit

A  chieable,    yes it is , with God and a little help from my friends ,we can make this happen , the excitment is in the air ,behind the scenes its a lot of work but Im confident December 03rd will be epic 


R ESPONSIBILITY is given to each team member to achieve the task relegated to them , so far we seem to be on course as the venue has been booked , a caterer has been appointed , seating and other arrangements ,the DJ and decor is  being finalized

T IME plays a key role yes ,as we have a deadline to meet , time is moving so fast ,it scares me as the days are counting down and we still have a lot to do .    


DISAPPOINTMENT , is inevitable but thank God  there has been little  , but we are dealing with it with a positive frame of mind ,beliveing that something better will come .I believe failure is part of success, or like my initative   a SETUP to success 
Financially the OUTPUT is great , doing this mostly by faith  and  a self funded budget Im still holding hope that investors will buy into my efforts 


The OUTCOME of all of this is what keeps me excited , to host a successful event and to sell my initative to my audience and to attract more support , to utilize the funds to provide, christmas care hampers to single mothers and girls  who survived DV, to purchase a Sewing Machine and materials for one single mother to begin self employment .


IMPACT , this is also one of our main concerns , On the day of the event we are hoping to make an impact on 200 persons , the proceeds will be used to further impact some 40 persons 


COMMUNITY is being encouraged to come out and support our events , through various forms of advertisting on Social Media , and local Radio and Television spots .We are also encouraging persons who live abroad to donate to tickets to be given out as prizes ton those who wish to attend but may not be able to do so . 

I am excited as I commit to these baby steps to see my vision unfold , its not about conqurering the entire mountain at once but begining by moving one pebble at a time .
