Girls Lead Community Book Corner

As Jim Kwik says, \"Readers are leaders\". The idea of setting -up a community book corner in the village of Divisoria came from the junior high school girls we chatted with during the International Day of the Girl. They were Aira, Jesabell, Nicole and Janedel from the Philippines and Bunbun from India.

It was Bunbun, the daughter of WP sister @Urmila Chanam who brought the idea of libraries for girls. Aira and Nicole liked the idea so children and pupils will have access to books.

They are girls who read and the book corner is their playground.

We hope that with this project, more girls and children will be able to practice reading , enjoy the experience and learn more. By letting the girls manage the Community Book Corner,we are creating future leaders in the peatland.
