Effective pathway to community Enlightenment.

One of the barriers I faced the first time I went out in partnership with AIESECife on enlightening rural dwellers about open defecation was communication.

NO, not that I couldn't express myself well or did justice to the topic but I wasn't communicating the way they would comprehend the info. To pass across a message effectively, the recipient must have the ability to receive it and also be able to interpret it correctly.

Recently, I was conversing with a rural dwellers in a riverine area and I discovered that building influential relationships with them to guide their decision making process as well as to inform them about the impact of their actions against their Health is an effective way to get the job done (Eradicating Open Defecation).

In Module 3, I got hold of next strategy which is  communication based on my experiences

This and many more strategies we will keep working on until we achieve the ultimate goal which is Good Health and Well-being.

Thanks for reading through.

Cheers!
