Changemakers Lab - Pt. 2 : Tactics and Outcomes
Since beginning my initiative, I have used the strategic tactic of networking on social media, almost exclusively on Linked In. Many real-life changemakers are online, interested in new people and ideas and are willing to connect for the greater good. I increased my network greatly, and set the stage on which I will reveal the outputs of my work on World Pulse Pulse online. I reached out to the FBI to inquire about ways to keep women safe from Gender-Based Violence, and I will include these in my newsletter, Sister Safe Volume #1. I also searched online for safety tips, and expect to reach out to other law enforcement agencies for feedback, too. Lastly, I will include my own strategies for staying safe, particularly in high-crime areas.
These tips will be presented in my newsletter in the coming weeks. My initial impact goal was 100,000, and I am hopeful that by the time my initiative has been shared online, I might reach that goal. I expect some opposition from misogynists and those who would like to trivialize my newsletter, but I believe it is the start of something good!
