An update!

We had such a fantastic #TrainingTuesday last week, focusing on Citizen Journalism! This topic is particularly close to my heart, because it has been so foundational to my engagement on World Pulse since day 1! Citizen journalism is, like the name suggests, a type of journalism. The difference, though, is that the people playing the role of journalists are not necessarily trained to be journalists - but are people who speak about their stories and lived experiences from the ground. They are people like you and me - and they play an active role in collecting, reporting, analyzing, and disseminating news and information about their communities.
