Changemakers Lab M2 part II update

As I was learning through Changemaker lab module 2 part II, the most captivating area was the reflection guide for the social change ecosystem map. And a question on "The roles",  what value call you?. So when I looked at the values I get to see that I have almost all. And when another question hit me very deep I.e what are you seeking to change?. I got a lot of things to that is, to change the mindset of people in my country and why not the world towards persons with albinism and the physically challenged, seeking a strong and inclusive society, getting more persons with disabilities into politics, bringing zero hunger and putting an end to skin cancer.

I learned about involving stakeholders in my project or initiative I.e a person or group of people who is positively or negatively impacted by my initiative. I know a lot of people have been impacted by my initiative "No sunburn no cancer". Some people were ignorant about albinism and harbored a lot of myths about them, even some people with albinism didn't know and believe in who truly they are, but due to my initiative, some people are aware and have improved their standards of living.

I have collaborated with stakeholders to build my initiative and still hoping to partner with like-minded stakeholders because my initiative is a long-term program most especially for the decision-makers of my country, they need to enact laws that strongly protect persons with albinism, most especially women with albinism who are the most vulnerable and the most affected.

So I thought it wise to start bringing the change from the base that is from the younger ones. I do contribute in their education so that they will be educated and will be able to secure jobs under shelter, I also sensitize the children most on how to protect their skin from sunburns since they are the most ignorant and free being.

Please join hands with me to put an end to skin cancer and myths about persons with albinism in your little corners.
