On October 10, the 109th anniversary of women in California winning the right to vote (by one vote!), singer Carol Manson and I, along with 168 other women throughout Sacramento County and Roseville, stood as semi-Silent Sentinels in a non-partisan coalition of women's groups to get out the vote. We were in Oak Park, at an intersection near Underground Books. A great cause and big fun. People were extremely responsive and engaged. Here's to keeping hope alive!!! It's more than a notion at times . . . VOTE. It matters.
