Read the latest Global Impact Review: “Seed, Root, Rise” for highlights from a year that seeded massive change and centered community care.
On World Pulse, I have felt seen, acknowledged, understood, and empowered. My whispers were nurtured into ringing cries for change that is inclusive of all diversity. I have met warm, powerful women who inspire me to strive towards the very best version of myself.

Women’s leadership has never been more essential as we face continued global pain and unprecedented challenges. In 2021, the World Pulse community planted visionary seeds and nurtured new growth that is already transforming lives and communities.
Women and allies everywhere are logging on and rising up from the digital grassroots, unfurling change on their own terms.
As part of the rising global ecosystem of World Pulse, you spoke up and took action last year, seeding massive change in your communities. We listened to your stories and feedback, and when we reached out with an annual community survey, we heard back from 491 community members from 71 countries who shared with us the ways they have used World Pulse to root and grow their visions.
We asked about how World Pulse has impacted their lives and communities, and despite losing a generation of progress toward gender equity in 2021 alone, our community reported back meaningful results:
- 76.8% of respondents reported that their actions as a result of World Pulse made an impact.
- 60.4% of members say World Pulse led to new connections.
- 80.7% of members report World Pulse increased their belief in their ability to take action for change.
- 63.3% of members reported World Pulse helped them increase credibility as a leader on an issue.
As you planted the seeds of change and spoke out, you created deep impact and connections. The World Pulse community has brought our cumulative global impact to 24.5 million people.
Thank you for being a part of this seedbed of global change and for taking part in our digital safe haven, where women, non-binary people, and allies are cross-pollinating solutions to heal ourselves, each other, and the world!
