Yes, I am Feminist!

I started my activism during my teens, mentored by a youth group who politicised me and helped develop my understanding of rights and citizenship. This mentoring has played an important role in my activism.  The sense of belonging to a collective and the solidarity that such spaces create are important for youth and any marginalized group seeking rights. Since my journey with the youth collective, I came into contact with feminists and feminist ideology which further shaped my politics.

Today I am a proud feminist working on issues of gender justice and safe public and workspaces for women.

I am committed to a Humane, Equitable, Safe, and Environmentally Sustainable Society.
