Hello Everyone, Here is a new <a href=\"//dissentmagazine.org/essaycontest/\" rel=\"nofollow\">writing contest</a> to check out! In the spirit of Goodman’s \"utopian essays and practical proposals\", write on what is one of the pressing social and political issues of our time, and how you would address it? The winning essay will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and will be published in Dissent. Two runner-up essays will be published on the Dissent web site and will receive $250 and a signed DVD copy of the film.
