Wounded Healer.

I am the first child of my parents with five siblings. Being the first child I was taught by my parents to follow rules so as to show a good example to my siblings. Due to this I couldn't stand up to say NO to my parents even if I was hurting to the extent that I was forced against my will to marry a man who tend out to be an abusive husband. He so abused me emotionally and physically that I almost loss my mind and at a point I had to build up the courage from within and for the first time in my life I took a decision which was to leave the marriage nomatter what the consequences will be. This was the first time I made a decision in my life without my  parent's influence and today I am glad I did because over time I got healed from trauma, bitterness and resentment. Today, I am able to tell my story without fear of being judged. I am able to use my life as an example to educate younger people especially girls without any shame and I am now living my own life.
