World Social Justice Day- Catholic University of Eastern Africa
On 20th October , which is the World Social Justice Day , we got an invitation from a lecturer at Catholic University of Eastern Africa to join them in commemorating the World Social Justice Day 2022.The them for the year 2022 is Overcoming Barriers and Unleashing Potentials .It was a great day to reflect on social justice in the Kenyan context in particular as well as in Africa .Together with a law student part of Haki Nawiri Afrika and a member of the Social Justice Centres , we got to lead the students and academia in singing the Struggle Song -popularly known among activists in East Africa region as Wimbo wa Mapambano.
