World Pulse Sisters- An inspiration

A happy me sitting in the morning with a ray of hope

The last few weeks have been really tough for me, to run an organization solo without any support is not just difficult but also exhausting, you keep asking yourself, again and again. There is self-doubt followed by anger. I remember what my father said to me always, " Be kind to yourself" it takes time and you have to maintain patience. I realize I am not a machine but a human and I need to take care of my health too, but my passion seems to not let me be at peace. It keeps telling me to work, work and work. And it's not healthy, especially for my mental health, and I can sense it.

I have been taking regular breaks but it's not helping me at all. Sleepless nights and fatigue is causing me severe stress and anxiety followed by health issues.

I was at a loss for a week, I knew I have to do something about it. I started thinking about the positive aspects of my life. The first thing that came to my mind was World Pulse. I felt a sense of relief it was late at night in India and I could not reach any sister at that hour.

Finally, an idea struck me. I decided to log in to World Pulse and ended up reading more than 20 stories, each story had so much to say, some gave me motivation, and some brought smiles to my face. Overall, I am overwhelmed reading up about the perseverance with which my sisters across the world have been continuously following their passion for years after years.

If they can do it so can I, I cannot even imagine the sacrifice and hardships they are facing every single day to give shape to their dreams. For instance, Kris is working so hard for a decade, isn't it so powerful, I mean her never-ending spirit just brought tears to my eyes, I am at a loss for words so cannot write more and leaving this story for now.

Thank you sisters around the world. You cant imagine the hope you give me with your stories. The world is a beautiful place and our contribution will make it more wonderful.

Gratitude to all world pulse sisters.
