Anum Shakeel is a PR Professional, Corporate Communications Strategist, and Education Consultant on a mission to build alliances between industries, academia, startups, non-profits, and media. With 7+ years of professional experience across the Corporate Industry, Startups & Non-Profit Sector, she now has an impressive combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Ms. Shakeel is a gold medalist from the University of Karachi and a certified women entrepreneur from the leading business school in Karachi. Ms. Shakeel has worked tirelessly in the startup ecosystem of Pakistan. She has worked on PR campaigns for over 300 tech startups, including providing mentorship and advancing innovative paradigms. She has also played the vital role in FinTech industry of Pakistan by working with the leading company in Pakistan.

Ms. Shakeel is currently serving as Vice-Curator Karachi Hub at World Economic Forum's initiative Global Shapers Community. She has earned various International media recognitions for her phenomenal strides. She also represented Pakistan on Global Shapers Summit 2020 and Harvard Business School Online event on IWD'21. She is recipient of 2 National Awards and 3 International Awards for her efforts towards the positive brand image of Pakistan.

Being the girls education advocate I want to get more girls on board. My mission is to bridge the gap between academia and industry. After winning the World Pulse Voices Rising Award on International Women's Day I have realized that I should start my own website and advocate my mission of gender equality and equity, girls education, digital story telling and career counselling more vocally.

Very soon with the help world pulse team I will start trainings for young girls in Sindh region. I am aiming to reach 1 million young men and women through social media trainings on digital literacy, personal branding, career counseling and mental health awareness.
