Working on assignment week 1

Rarely have I been so compelled to be a part of something. Especially when it seems to be so outside of my scope. But looking more closely, it fits my mission statement of RELATIONSHIPS and COMMUNICATION, but maybe a different path.

Sitting here, so to speak, in the middle of literal and figurative aches and urges I am again tempted to question, \"is this for me?\"

I am reminded of the compelling. Like a crack in the sky. Something that could not be ignored.

So I am taking this chance and writing about something other than speech disorders.

Giving attention to that thing, tapping me on the shoulder these past years.

And what's the worst that could happen? I tried something new. I made connections. I took a chance, and it only made me a better woman.
