Women's Web World(www)

Initially i was not sure about the World Plus as my network with out side world is very limited. I was involved seriously in telangana movement, a regional movement for self rule, identity and culture. I started writing for myself, one of my friend started uploading all my write ups and slowly i also managed to do so. I am also part of many struggles related to land, environment, women, oppressed sections etc. I see women actively participating and their stories are not published anywhere, no one look at their participation and give any recognition. They are the victims of circumstances. Ofcourse, the story is not different to me. I do face discrimination in every stage. When i saw about this site, some how i felt that i will definitely learn more and do write about different things, participation of women, their world. I always mention about the world, new world, our world etc because i believe women need a separate place to live, this world dont understand them or women need to crate a world where they dont feel discrimination at all.

When i read about the first assignment, specially media and empowerment i was really excited, knowing about the tags, post, online and offline etc. These are all words i have been seeing and do not no much about them, many times i just use or some times i feel shy to ask about it or often i dont find time to sit with some one to learn. I am glad that i have joined in this group, am already feeling new and this is the first step towards empowerment. The motivation, interest always gives energy, new thoughts to write something. Yes, it is different how we right, good or bad, whether any one can understand or not but the first step begins with starting, writing! Keep doing!

I am enjoying this women's web world, the place where we can learn and share things, know about other stories. My passion is to know more and more about writing stories and document all the stories which do not take place in mainstream media. WE make our own history and our own world. We design and deliver the right things about us. We dont need to feel bad about not seeing our stories, our activities, our inventions..now we have our own place, speaking the truth without fear, inhibition.

Lets begin our journey! its our world, the web world, empowered world.
