Women Land Rights

Organised by Kenyan Peasants League-Women Collective , the forum discussed land , challenges facing women in securing land rights, culture and land, land ownership, youth and land and strategies on meaningful involvement of women on land related issues including will writing , advocacy ,more community dialogues on land ,consciousness building on land rights among young people, community based land rights watch groups to promote women land rights and formation of community land assemblies.Haki Nawiri Afrika was represented and gave insights on will writing and land related legislations in the Kenyan context.
