Dear World Pulse Sisters, As I prepare to launch my initiative on International Women's Day 2023, I am reaching out to this community to see if there are any of you interested in sharing your stories to be a part of my inititative. For clarity, I am breaking down the process below.
What?
I am searching for 6 stories for the pilot of the initiative (One in each loop of the spiral. The image above has the categories of stories.)
Initially planned as a wheel, the initiative is now a spiral. I will share a detailed explanation for the creative behind this in another update.
How and Where?
The current process will be as follows:
Step 1: We will set up a zoom call of 30-45 minutes at a time convenient to you. In this call, I will provide you a framework of questions that will help us identify and select the narrative of the story.
Step 2: I will provide you a first draft of the story outline - Detailed/Video Short.
Step 3: Once you approve and share whatever images/videos you are willing to be publicised, I will create the video short for the instagram account (in the process of being created) and the detailed page on the website.
Step 4: The Instagram page will launch with the video shorts between International Women's Day 2023 (March 8th) till March 12th, with a callout to audiences to wait for the website.
Step 5: March 15th/25th the website will roll out with a Blog post dedicated to each full story with images and an audio/video interview link as well.
Every detail/image that is shared will be with the express consent of participating members.
I hope to utilise the pilot and the subsequent three rounds of stories as a platform to apply for grants/funding, so that eventually all participating women can be compensated for their time and stories. As initial grants roll in, I will ensure that the volunteers of the pilot rounds are compensated belatedly as well.
