Failure to address conflicts effectively with inclusivity of women has made Africa unable to eradicate poverty and the world at large unable to meet millennium development.
Whatever the cause, conflict undermines development and exacerbates poverty and gender inequality. Conflict has fueled violence and the most affected people are children and women. Women's rights have been violated and livelihoods destroyed. Women make homes through peace building and they can as well have a voice in peace making forums.
