Imagine a world with no women, no sound or face of women present. What kind of a world can that be? Women are special indeed. They provide for their homes, care for their families and provide solutions too to the society even though they are not given a voice to be heard. Life without a woman could have been boring indeed. But some people do not admire the strength of a woman.

In most work places women come third to men in most things. For example, positions, trainings,empowerment, earnings, women are given less despite their qualifications. But for a man, whether he does not have the right qualifications for the job, they still get the position no matter what.

This is what is bothering women journalists in most countries. Women in the media do not get higher positions and opportunities to attend trainings become very slim. Female journalists are regarded as secondary in most decision making positions. The more we try to fight for our rights, the more we are taken as rude and not being professional. But, what needs to be done is to empower women journalist about their rights at workplaces so that they stand up and take up their positions.

Empowerment on women in the media is very important so that they discharge their duties properly without being afraid of anything. Yes, women in the media are there but the problem is that they are not fully empowered,do not have a voice to speak for their rights. Women journalists need help.
