Woman of Courage! You went were angels feared to thread. You were fearless, courageous Strong, ambitious and dedicated! Your love was boundless You oozed confidence Your strength, my strength Woman of faith, peace, love Endurance! Where fore art though fear? Where fore art though tears? Where fore art though indignation? None, therefore I say none! Woman of courage, woman of strength Woman of love, woman of endurance What do I take from thou? What do I learn from thee? Patience, love, tolerance Sacrifice, forgiveness, faith Selflessness, perseverance, Hope where there is none, Smiling through tears, Never giving up Braving unkind weather In search of a better life For family, neighbour, friend And foe alike. I salute thee Woman of Courage I am for you were I have for you gave I smile through tears For you shed more. This is the woman who made me who I am!
