Women Inspiration Development Center to continue to empower more women to be free from shadow pandemic of domestic and sexual violence. More were trained on hand made nose mask, liquid soap and tailoring. Some women were given empowerment to establish their small business while some were empowered to strengthen their existing businesses that crumbled during the COVID 19 lock down. This program is ongoing at WIDC as we get fund.
Nigeria has been experiencing a great surge in domestic and sexual violence cases during COVID 19 pandemic. After the activist in the nation demonstrated that enough is enough, the Governors of the 36 states in Nigeria has to declare a state of emergency on Violence against women. It is reducing bit by bit after series of interventions both locally and internationally.
