Every woman is made to feel special by her husband, brother, father at home and her male colleagues on one day every year i.e March 8.
On this day, I hear all around me , men commenting \" Today is your day\" . I feel unhappy with this chauvinistic remark.
Why is she not made to feel special on the other 364 days ?
On all other 364 days, she is either raped, beaten, abused, or mentally and emotionally harassed by the same people .
Why is she killed in the womb ?
Why is she not given food ?
Why is she not sent to school ?
Why is she married off young ?
Why is acid thrown at her ?
Why is she sexually harassed at her work place and in her own home ?
There are many \" Why's which can be added to this list ?
Do we have an answer to all our \" Why's\"
