Why I support women

I was blessed to raise three daughters, learning why females are different than I am. I got in touch with my female side during those wonderful years and when they all left home, found girls in our community who could benefit from my support and commitment. My first encounter with women in great need, was after I met a missionary from India and learned how women are treated as second class citizens. I was outraged and started supporting efforts to help them. My passion has expanded, so I see all girls as needing to be protected.

One thing I find funny, is when I tell a woman that I am a woman's advocate. NOBODY, has smiled and said thank you. Rather they all look at me like I'm going to try to seduce them or something. I seldom use the term woman's advocate, but wish I could share how I'm carrying out my commitment to help females. Any suggestions?
peace,
William
