Who I am

As a way of introducing myself to your beautiful self, yes YOU reading this Journal let me begin by letting you know who I am. I was born and bred in Maunatlala village in Botswana (Africa), I am a young HR professional woman in the making but my purpose lies in changing one life at a time, something I took seriously this year, wonderful right? the best decision ever. In a quest to achieve this I made 2014 a year to embark on personal development and self discovery...it has been an amazing journey thus far, have attended eye opening empowerment conferences & workshops, the African Youth Charter Summit 2014 and have met young people with the same vision. Some I made sure I got out of meetings with their hearts so we can run this race together and that has been achieved as well.
So, who I am in a nutshell?
Who I am is a young woman striving to break the so called glass ceiling both in my mind and the real world.
Who I am is perfection in my imperfections.
Who I am isn't defined by my flaws or fears.
Who I am isn't defined by the media but God in His infinite wisdom.
Who I am is not waiting for a man to rescue me.
Who I am is an independent woman waiting on someone who will fit into my purpose.
Who I am is a change maker, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend and trust me the author of my story is working behind the scenes and I can assure you the best is yet to come.
Who I am is beautiful from within, perfectly flawsome and loving every minute of it.

...to be continued.
