WHAT WOULD YOU GIVE FOR SEX DISCRIMINATION TO BE PROHIBITED IN AMERICA?

I am writing about American womens' and girls' and what sex discrimination does to them. Many other countries believe that America is the pinacle of democracy for us females.

It is not. Ask women. Many other nations are better models of democracy. In the years following WWII those nations formed after the War were mandated by the USA to include women's equal treatment officially. But refused that to their own nation's women and girls.

And that is how it has been left, though that US Constitutional amendment has lain in wait for 93 years, never passed.

The ever-waiting Equal Rights Amendment still reads: \"Equality under the Law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any Stateaccording to sex\".

The American population still contains many sectors of the population who are looked down upon, sadly.. Women of all races, ethnic groups, religions, though the largest group at 52% of the American population, are treated as second ckass citizens!

I feel guilt at focussing on American females' unfair situation when women and girls in Other nations are in much, much worse situations. My own goal is that when American males and females are accorded equal treatment in our Constitution, we will all rise up in a strong chorus to demand, fight for equal treatment of Every female and male alike Everywhere in the world.

Until American females are paid equally with males in the same job, same hours, the same or better credential; until sexual harassment, stalking, groping, trafficking, and Rapes are treated everywhere like the crimes they ARE...until Americans are legally guaranteed full equal treatment everywhere, we females must stay on guard against the prevailing invasion of our rights, even our own intimate bodies.

Yes, this is the Real America that even some American women do not acknowledge; they seem to have become immune and mute in the face of remaining UNmentioned in the Contract with their nation! Yes, we fought successfully to be able to vote--some died in the fight, others were force-fed, jailed cruelly a long 70 years after ALL men \"got the vote\".

Good news! American women and girls are re-igniting that Equal Rights Amendment to the US Constitution. We will gain the dignity, respect so long deserved. THE ERA WILL MAKE NASTY, UGLY SEX DISCRIMINATION A VIOLATION OF THE US CONSTITUTION. Imagine, then to have real, legal, defined protection from sex discrimination we females, as avowed human beings ! (Sex Discrimination is defined as the undemocratic,UNequal treatment of any sector of the USA based on their sex.) Male and Female, and we fight for males' rights, too, though females take the brunt everywhere. Nothing else in the US Constitution does that.

Things are changing snail-paced in America. The Democratic political Party admits that sex discrimination exists. The Republican Party does not. And as the ruling party at present, the Republican Party refuses even to hold a vote on the ERA! Not in all 93 years ERA has been up for a vote! Even female Republican legislators refuse the ERA, politically afraid to vote against the male majority. Only 3 more of the American states need to have a chance to vote for sex-equal Treatment via the ERA,so that it passes into our Constitution. ERA would guarantee protection against the current undercurrent, unspoken Sex Discrimination as well as the horrific, overt kind.

American men and women would be freed to Fight For All Females EVERYWHERE!

To achieve this guarantee, 300 000 members of my own National Equal Rights Amendment Alliance, Inc. and the 326 major organizations endorsing us, we lobby for free 12/7 for this needed equal treatment nationwide, going on 17 years in the USA.

There are at least two other national organizations which we partner with: ERA Action and ERA Coalition, along with hundreds of other new ERA organizations.

Together we will prevail. Wait and See. Guaranteed equal treatment codified and obeyed via your own charter/constitution is on Our Agenda.

With Love, Sisters,
