Impact means a significant change or effect on a people or community that happens as a result of an action or set of activities . Impact ,for me, is the cumulation of the results of outputs and outcomes of strategies I put in place to drive a vision in the long term.Impact for me, in closing the disparity between boys and girls in school is to see increased enrollment of girls in school, see increased number of girls complete all least secondary School and see a drastic change in attitude of parents towards sending girls to school.Measuring impact will help me improve the quality of my offerings as I sensitize and advocate for girls education.It helps me to compare the work with standard practices and what other similar change makers are doing.I am thankful for the opportunity to learn from the Training Tuesday lesson on measuring impact.
