What does PulseWire mean to me?
To me PulseWire is a voice through which my fears and concerns are heard. It is a place where I can share and get information about what is going on with other women in the world; women from Africa, Asia, America and Europe. When communicating at PulseWire I shed all my inhibitions and gain enough confidence to talk about deep issues affecting women and try and find solutions from fellow women who have had the same experiences or are familiar with my situation.
What brought you to World Pulse? And what has been your experience on PulseWire?
I got into PulseWire because I wanted a place I could intact with other women, I needed a platform to highlight the issues affecting me and other women around me without being looked down or discriminated at. I wanted a place where mine and other women’s opinion was respected and a place where I could keep up with the issues affecting other women across the globe, their fears, conquests and successes and I got it at PulseWire. I have learnt a lot about other cultures, about women successes, about what is pulling women down and about how to speak up again injustices affecting other women. But most of all I have learnt that I am not alone, because out there somewhere there is a woman who understands my situation whatever it may be and that’s why I am still a member of PulseWire.
