What are your ideas for bringing women together globally to start movements using internet communications and media?

Facebook is amazing! I've found friends and family on there and think that its an amazing tool. Yet, by the feminist movement, it is highly under utilized. If you create a facebook page, email it out to all your contacts and ask them to email it to their contacts, you will begin to reach people you never thought were possible. I don't know how many groups I've joined just because someone aske me to. The power of the \"ask\". On the page, I'd ask people to upload videos (from cameras and phones) describing what is going on in their part of the world. Because there is a lack of knowledge of other parts of the world, this would connect people to the issues...joys and concerns. Then I'd ask people to respond...either in text or in video. You can connect the world just by sharing your heart and allowing people to comment on what's going on. It is my desire to mobilize a legion of men/women/youth around the issue of women's rights. That's it. Nothing special...however, if I had a laptop, it'd be way easier and I'd be able to upload things to start the site. This would be a great opportunity for me...a poor missionary...but this contest is also way awesome! To give someone the means to reach the world is a power that is seemingly reserved only for the rich. Good job. You are levelling the playing field!
