We win zero games when we stop playing

Ryan Killackey makes the case for documentaries in telling climate change stories
After 4 tries at climate activations of LIVING BRIGHTLY in the past year, I have stopped. I gave my best presentations and no one took me up on paying for climate action planning. Beyond a first weekend, the idea was to craft a compelling 3-day Xperience so the participants would want to know more and sign up for a year-long program so they would be prepared and understand from a 360-degree view how they might adapt and mitigate their lives to this Xistential threat to all life. They would become part of solutions rather than life-as-usual-part of the problems.
When we stop playing we win zero games. When I stop speaking I persuade zero humans. Climate breakdown is happening now. It is human-caused. It is possible for humans to change and change we must to stop climate change.
Reflecting, I am asking what must I do differently to attract people prepared to listen, learn, leverage their life resources to live lighter with a brighter outlook for our collective finer futures? What must I change? Is it my delivery? Is it the model of a 3-day live enrollment event that does not fit for climate? Are people not willing to pay for something they feel is bigger than they can do anything about? Is it too much? How might I more specifically identify my raving fans?
Since August I have turned back to tackling climate breakdown by producing two more of the solutions-focused online TEDx events and coaching 100+ other TEDx speakers, and curating dozens more. I simply can not stop completely. If my own LIVING BRIGHTLY events are not captivating clients, then producing TEDx speakers for climate solutions is a tried and proven way to get the word out about solutions.
TEDxBoston is this coming Sunday and Monday. These are some of the titles of Talks to tackle climate we've been designing.
