On World Pulse, we're on a mission to challenge and change #MenstruationMyths.

Did you know in some countries the cloth stained with your first menstrual blood is considered to be auspicious and is preserved lifelong for good health? But in others, it is believed that these clothes are used to perform black magic and must be burnt or buried deep under the ground? This #MenstrualHygieneDay, we’re working hard on dispelling menstruation myths. Check out this video featuring five World Pulse members who share how they’re on a mission to stop period misinformation and empower girls and women in their communities. Watch the video, then head to the comments section to connect with each member (tagged in the comments) and to let us know about menstruation myths in your community.
