‘VOK Week 1: (Web 2.0 enhancing women voices globally)’

Web 2.0 excites me in the essence that one can share information with a large group of people just at the click of the mouse. Web 2.0 enables one individual to generate information and sends it to many people.
This then creates room for one to share information to many individuals hence increasing information access across the globe.
This is a very interesting feature of web 2.0 since the information is share so fast across many people on board. The system provide and opportunity for us to have an online community.
Despite our geographical differences it gives us an opportunity of being global citizens and speaking for the common good of people globally. It makes us to think globally and act locally to shape the lives of women in this world.

Web 2.0 has increased access to information to many individuals who could not get such information if such technology was not in place. It empowers individuals and women in particular from across the globe to be able to share information and get feedback instantly.
Web 2.0 has increased the way the women access and share information. From the North Pole to the South Pole women are now united by the web 2.0 technologies to speak out for the issues that affect the women globally. Women can now air out their concerns and be the voices of the voiceless in this planet.

Web 2.0 is very much empowering for me. Now, I have knowledge and understanding on how the information is shared online- thanks to the voices of our future and the web 2.0 technologies. I have been empowered to speak out my voice through web 2.0. I cam confidently say now that I have a little bit of understanding on how I can share my stories to the rest of the women across the globe by use of the online tools like web 2.0.

Web 2.0 has given me a new beginning in life. Now I can be able to use it to communicate with friends both locally and even internationally. This online community has given me new networks and increased my knowledge on new technologies. Indeed, I’m happy to have found home in this online environment.
I believe that I will share information with other like minded women so as to make the voice of the world women to be heard further beyond the horizon.
