VOF Week 5: World Pulse and My Reader
Jan 21, 2015
story
I have also decided to join week 5 as some of our friends have decided.
One day I hear about World pulse in an assembly of our university from our teacher, who is also one of the participator. I was impressed with the vision of world pulse so I decided to join this group thinking that I will write about me and my country. I am interested in writing but poor in English which sometime discourage me to write. While writing some article in the world pulse there was something in my head in Nepal That I wanted to translate in English but I could not find English word. I was so sad and to write a small article it took a long time. My readers give me courage to remove that weakness by their valuable comments.
As the time past, we finished our assignment and were waiting to hear the result from world pulse. After April 30, I was so worried and was only thinking when to check my email because I wasn’t in my university. I was in Dhaka- the capital city of Bangladesh, and was suffering from viral fever. Finally the day came, but I didn’t know the result. One of my friend-Prabish, a competitor of VOF, told me that I was selected. After hearing from her, I tried to login my computer but my hands were frozen though it was 40oc hot. At the same time, I had network problem in my computer. Finally, I saw my result. I was so happy, that much happy, I couldn’t explain in words. But I saw my friend sadness which made me think about her.
My reader comments inspire me and decrease my frustration. But now, I am little worried of those readers. I am not hearing from them. What are they doing now? Are they sad? I am missing them. I hope they will continue their blogging after some days. I am really excited about my mentor and training. Hope to begin our journey together.
Thanks all of you who provide me place and encourage me to increase my courage.
Cheer up,
With Love
