Victims of circumstances

Yesterday I had an opportunity to participate in world disability day Approved Dispensary Kakamega county. If someone would be given an opportunity to come into the world it would be good but God had a purpose. Majority of women in community believe in traditional mid wives they don't like to go and deliver in health facilities or even attend Antenatal clinic. Attending ANC clinic is not about nutrition, immunization but check up of mothers health and baby.

When they are in labour they call upon traditional midwives they undergo prolonged labour to an extent the baby loses oxygen thus by the time they refer to health facility the nurses conduct caesarean and the baby has severe celebral palsy and the mother will not bother giving the epilepsy drugs thus the fits continue damaging the brain, no physiotherapy the baby will not speak, leg joint weak. Yesterday what caught my attention 3 siblings were born with same mother it's unfortunate both parents died the children were thrown from their parents home a good Samaritan rescued the children took them to a children's home. The uncle's of the children are negotiating with buyers to buy deceased land. I was annoyed got on the podium assured participants will ensure the land is not sold people should not take advantage of innocent souls these children given an opportunity they will see many more years.
