USA International College of Dentists supports Voiceless Children



USA Foundation International College of Dentists donated $5,000 to Voiceless Children organization towards dental care and school fees for 2010, Voiceless Children a USA and Kenyan registered organization supports orphan children and grandmothers in recovering lost hope in villages affected by the HIV/Aids pandemic. The grandmothers raise their voices and and challenges through a story of hope and resilience in a 54 minutes powerful documentary \"A Granmother's Tribe\" you can also watch or purchase the film on www.agrandmotherstribe.com.
During this year's ceremony Ms. Ellen Bienstock a Cultural Attache with USA Embassy, Nairobi also donated six bags of maize to two hundred families at Mudoba village. Voiceless Children has since it's launch sponsored 42 high school students with three college students. The organization also launched a pilot project for milk cows which is doing great, in 2006 fourteen grandmothers received cows, the first group has handed over two heifers to the next group with four more heifers awaiting to be given to other grandmothers as well.
