Dear All,

 The greatest need of this generation and a coming few is to understand how they fit into the larger picture when they are ready to take their place in the world. Does economics define who they are or they are the ones who will define economic trends. Wondering why an educator is speaking about economics? Simple, because that decides how the world works and to keep up with changes a simultaneous change in education is extremely essential. Our systems of education are predominantly based on the demands laid down by the industrial revolution. It seems extremely dogmatic and archaic. There has been a need for change for which we are somewhat 40 years late. But as they say 'better late than never'. 

This 'burning need' to bring that change in and through Education, prompted the birth of Art Craft and I,  who designed Abracadabra to implement this. It was an uphill struggle and it still is. We realized everyone wants' A' change but no one wants 'TO' change. After a lot of disappoint with various educational institutions and knocking(till our knuckles bleed) on various doors including government agencies, we decided to take this program directly to parents. Our pilot project brought us immense success and the year we wanted to take it commercial the big CA struck. After a sabbatical of a year, with the blessings of innumerable loved ones, we are ready to Hit the road! 

We start with our own program designed for 4 to 6 years old, a skill development initiative, in Mumbai from this month. We would be very interested to take this to other countries who believe education brings about change and it starts at the grassroots. 

As time permits we are going to try and upload our learning through the years for people to enjoy and in turn learn from.
