Update on Change Maker Lab, module 1.

Change Maker Lab module 1, has really shape my vission looking on preventing skin cancer. It also teaches me on how to shape my SMART goals by enabling me know the actual problem am trying to address and there many solutions to a problem, to know the enabling factors to my problem. Before trying to prevent skin cancer amongst persons with albinism in the Northwest and southwest regions of Cameroon, due to the sociopolitical crisis in this region, the economic and social standards of these persons are so low and most of them are unemployed, and are forced to do farming, hawking under the sun and most of these persons are already suffering from skin cancer. From my learning in module 1 has help me to know other enabling factors to skin cancer such as the political situation, cultural, social example unemployment, myths etc. I have done a lots of sensitizations about skin cancer and way that it can be prevented such as wearing long clothes, hat, not going under the sun but these cannot actually be practiced so I brought up this initiative of aleovera plan extracting the gel and modify it which will be used as sunblocks and help treat the skin against skin. I have tested this on about 20 persons with albinism and was proven effective. Aleovera is not costly, always available, natural and easy to use. All these was learned from lessons 1-4 in module 1.

A campaign will be carried out atleast 3 times a year to educate the public and persons with albinism on Albinism and Skin cancer this is the number one killer to persons with albinism. Learn how to carryout my campaigns successfully from the7 tools for defining your campaign problem
