United Nurses for Healthy Nation

We organise leadership trainings for nurses. Our focus is to eradicate miserability in Nepalese Nurses. Awaring government to correct their errors which are hampering every single nurses' life is our goal

Capacity strengthening, orientation and sensitization for nurses.

You may not have imagined  about the situation of Nepalese Registered nurses in their job. It's full of expectation at first when they pass their registration exam ;but what about the reality?? It's nothing other than low pay, high work load, no facilities and finally fraustration. And you may be now thinking of who is responsible of this condition! Right? Yes it's the Government's Ministry of Labor ;who forgot to categorise Nursing as skilled and trained health profession . What a shame!

Some of us being united went to Ministry of Health and population to aware that Labor ministry must be pressurised to correct the mistake of the act, but till now no actions are started to contact with Labor ministry.

Is it the senario of Nurses around the world? That's a big NO. We are valued the most in foreign but our government placed us in the lowest pay hirerchy equal to the illiterate/Labour pay scale. There is no law, bullshit to this kinds of irrors. Have the person who formulated the law remembered once about the cost of study in Nursing in Nepal? More than 70 percent of nurses are now suffering from financial starvation ;in my term. It's more than a financial crises. And it's fraustating and depressing situation. You must know they can get$ 150 a month in maximum and the government cannot punish the employer regarding low pay to nurses. Isn't it a shame shame puppy shame?

So from now we are being united and creating awareness among nurses too and convicing not to apply for such a low paying private jobs, and go for what you deserve. Nurses are being buried under a huge mountain of their education loans, who cares?
