Unfortunate kashmiri women

On the eve of international womens day i would narrate you a very unfortunate incidence that is shocking and perhaps will give you sleepless nights.
It was 23 rd of feb 1991,KUNAN POSHPORA ( a viilage in District Kupwara of India occupied Kashmir )was cordened off by the Indian soldiers. The men were driven out from their houses for interrogation leaving behhind the wome and children. The soldiers without having mercy gange raped the women aged 13-80 years.Some of the women were pregnant, some too old and few too young to understand and know about the rape.
The women tried hard to save their honour but could not fight the battle to save their chastity.
There was lot of hue and cry over the gruesome incidence all over the valley . But till date culprits move scot free.The victims were shatttered .Many of them confined themselves to thier houses shedding tears and many lost their nerves. There is a social stigma attached with rape in our society so the women are still facing lots of hardships for no fault of theirs.
The brutes wounded the souls of the helpless women. The culprits were not brought to books.Justice was not done.
Perhaps justice will be done on the JUDGEMENT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
