UBUNTU: Loving without question

The South African philosophy of UBUNTU means togetherness or oneness: when you are happy I am happy; when you are hurting I am hurting, if you are hungry I am hungry, if you know peace I know peace.

I believe we are all of the same tribe, all the same people. That we are responsible for each other, because the tribe is well only when all the members are well.

Yesterday (April 4th) at the World Pulse offices, Olutosin was sharing her story of her life: her struggles and successes and she broke down and could not continue. Jensine called, \"group hug\" and everyone in the room rushed over to Olutosin and surrounded her in a protective, loving hug. An Ubuntu gesture of love.

When I love someone I gain the feeling of being loved even if the person doesn't know that I'm loving them. And the more often I love someone, the more I am aware of this gift to each other which love offers.

Ubuntu. With love,

William
