Train-Coach-Mentor Visually Impaired Girls With Me

Girls Leadership Projects and programs in Ghana, Zambia, Kenya and Nepal.I work with girls from difficult backgrounds including visually impaired girls. Since 2009, Greight Foundation has implemented Train-Coach-Mentor Girls Leadership Project for girls and young women including visually impaired girls.

'Train-Coach-Mentor' Girls Leadership Project focuses on training, coaching, and mentoring girls to be leaders and achievers in their communities. Project participants learn to build self-confidence, basic leadership, and entrepreneurship skills through our workshops and meetings. The girls are then paired with mentors who share their experiences and support them to achieve their goals in life. The girls are then challenged to each touch 8 other girls to be great (greight) in their lifetime.

Girls and young women who are confident take bold steps, dream big dreams, and work hard to achieve their goals in life. Girls with leadership skills take initiatives to bring change to their communities. Girls with entrepreneurship skills have a chance to rise from poverty and give back to their communities. The long term impact of the project is the challenge for participants to touch 8 other girls to be great (greight) in their lifetime.
