To forgive is to give your mind clarity

Do you often get the nudge to call someone you believe hurt you or have been hurt by you some time in the past?
Earlier this month, my mind went back constantly to someone who did me wrong terribly some years back. Thinking about how painful it was, I decided not to think about it but I couldn't take my mind away from this person. I didn't have peace knowing I was still angry deep inside. After thinking about it for several days, I felt this need to give a call. I resisted continuously for days.
Then, came this voice in me screaming practically loud enough but only I could hear it clearly.
"What if this is the right time to forgive and let go? What if this person really needed this at this point? What if this person may not be there anymore to get some day soon?'
And then, with so much uncertainty, I made that call yesterday! I realized how truly freeing this was. She was happy, I was freed!
Now, do you know that some people don't just know how to ask for forgiveness?
Do you also realize that to forgive someone is to free yourself completely from a prison you had no idea existed before?
Chose to forgive even when they don't realize they hurt you.
Chose to forgive even when they don't ask for forgiveness.
Chose to forgive even when you hurt so bad.
*You free your mind to think positively for your productivity and for the overall good of humanity.
Forgiveness doesn't make you vulnerable, it gives you strength.
Even when they don't deserve it, give it out freely.
May this new year be great. Cheers
