Think equal, build smart, innovate for change

*The International Women's  Kakamega *

The International Women's Day comes at a time when we should be celebrating milestones taken to achieve the gender balance. However, despite the several efforts made to think equal, build smart and innovate for change the rights of women in Kenya are still wanting. Women are at risk of several human rights violations; gender based violence, femicide, enforced disappearances, sexual harrassment just to mention a few.  As a human rights organisation, Good Health Community Programmes working with  acknowledges that our country cannot achieve balance for better if the rights of our girls and women are not protected. It is for this reason that we join all our partners from across the country on Friday 8th March to demand for the rights of women to not only be guaranteed but protected. Stop Killing our women! Respect our women. Come and join us this Friday as we march from Shabwali  to  Shinyalu from 9am.
